First time there and it was awesome! The only complaint I have is it was way too HOT! The campground was amazing! We were there in our 40 ft Motorhome and the site we were on had plenty of room for the Motorhome and our truck. We will definitely be back!!

Very nice campground, spots have plenty of room, lots of shade, over half are on the water. Restrooms/shower houses could use an upgrade. No sewer connection but 2 dump stations.

Wonderful experience at check in. Let us choose a better site as they were not booked up. A great breeze off the lake made it comfortable to sit outside even in July. Bathrooms could use updating but were clean.

Our first time there and we have already booked 2 more trips there.. We loved it, the kids loved it also! Everyone is so nice and friendly! The Lady that checks you in - is the sweetest.... very helpful! Can't wait until our next trip!

We had a very nice time. Although our original site, 75 power pedestal had an open ground and our Electric Management System would not pass power through to our RV. The staff was able to relocate us to site 17 which was very nice. We were able to launch our kayaks from the shore line.
Our power pedestal cover fell off at site 17 when accessing the breakers.

General
- You MUST have a reservation to camp. Attendants cannot do transactions at the gatehouse. Follow our Facebook page for more details https://www.facebook.com/USACEBSSO/?ref=settings
- Check-out time is 3:00 P.M. Check-in time is 4:00 P.M.
- Beginning November 15, 2021 loops 2 and 3 (Sites 55 - 139) will be closed until March 1, 2022. Loop 1 (Sites 3 - 54) will be open all winter.
- Only 4 vehicles (including camping unit) are allowed per site and must be parked on hard surfaces. Any additional vehicles can be parked in the overflow parking near the gatehouse.
- All vehicles must be street legal and only operated by a licensed driver. Golf carts, atvs, and battery operated scooters are prohibited.
- Bicycles must have lights when operated after dark.
- Remove all trash from your site before you leave and do not burn trash in the fire ring.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
