This visit was disappointing. We’ve stayed here many times over the years, including during bad weather, so the weather itself wasn’t the issue. What stood out this trip was how much the campground seems to have declined over the last several years.

The property is beginning to look tired and neglected. The large jumping pillow, one of the main attractions for our children, was out of service the entire weekend, even during periods when the weather was perfectly fine. We specifically choose sites in that area so our kids can enjoy it, so it was frustrating to find it never inflated. The grass throughout the campground was overgrown, the roads and RV sites (specifically picnic tables) were in poor condition, and the pool furniture is well past the point of needing replacement. Much of it was worn, stained, and uncomfortable to use.

What makes this especially disappointing is that we genuinely love Yogi. It’s close to home, and our family has been coming here for years. We enjoy RV camping and spending time outdoors, but there simply isn’t much to do beyond the pool. Adding more family activities, maintaining existing attractions, and investing in some much-needed upkeep would go a long way toward improving the guest experience.

The little things matter. They show guests that they’re valued and encourage families to return and recommend the campground to others. We would love to see Yogi return to the destination it once was.

This is a well maintained state park complete with activities and fun for all ages - big pool, slides, bouncy castles and more for kids, a baseball field, trails, swimming, kayaking, fishing, lots of other activity. You won't be bored. It was 95 degrees the day we were there. We used the clubhouse right on the lake. It was air conditioned and comfy with capacity for maybe 75 people. We had our food catered and music piped in. It was clean and cool. We were very satisfied.

We stayed just a couple of nights, but we had the best time! The kids loved all of the activites! They were the only things that got them out of the pool and water slide area. We tent camped and loved having electricity to charge devices. The golf cart rental was nice and came in very handy getting to and from our site and amenities! The cafe was nice, clean, and the food was good! All of the staff that we encountered were also very friendly! We were sad having to leave but are already trying to figure out our next visit!

Overall the experience was good, two things is that we did not have working lights on our golf cart we found out too late at night. The other was that we signed up for the canoe ride and they didn't show up til well after our scheduled time. Other than that it was a good stay.
