We reserved site 10. When we arrived after check in time, our site was occupied by an RV with no one around. We picked an empty site and enjoyed the weekend. No camp host was at the campground.

I camp here often, the campground has all the amenities I need. Consistently many other campers let their dogs run without leashes possibly endangering other campers and enhancing the likelihood of a confrontation with leashed dogs like mine who are protective. In decades of camping I've never camped Anywhere that didn't have a leash rule, I don't get it? On many occasions I've seen people who are not campers roll into a camp site and use it for their own purposes and create unnecessary disturbances and inconvenience for registered campers. So the sites are nice, all with great views of the water plus a boat ramp and a recreation area with pavilion and picnic areas. It would improve the camping experience if the USFS could manage these unauthorized intrusion upon an othwise excellent facility.

Had a great time. Location is beautiful. Small issue with a camper not having their dog on a leash but other than that had a wonderful trip
