What Guests Are Saying
Delta National Forest offers a peaceful camping experience surrounded by beautiful hardwood landscapes, with many reviewers appreciating the serenity and wildlife. However, some sites are in poor condition, with issues like fallen trees, trash, and inadequate signage leading to accessibility problems. Improved maintenance and clearer directions would enhance the overall camping experience, but many guests still find enjoyment in the natural beauty and tranquility of the area.

Couldn't find the site. Map showed it right on route 16. Directions said to turn on 703. No roads marked as 703 until deep in the woods. Only sites we found were 18 & 19. Both unaccessible with down limbs in the driveway. Wasted hours and stress driving a camper around sketchy Forest roads just to end up giving up and finding another place to park for the night. A little signage would help.

Great spot at Blue Lake, quiet peaceful, birds chirping in the morning.
The water spigot at work station was turned off and the vault bathrooms on site were closed.
Some trash at the sites despite the bear proof trash containers present.
The area must have had high winds recently, lots of blowdowns visible. You can tell they have down a lot of working cleaning up from the storm and there's a lot of firewood available.

Site booked was inaccessible due to fallen
trees; other sites had trash scattered and in fire pits. Doesn’t seem like this area is monitored or cared for by forest service.

Only had 1 person come into our camp to go hunting. If people want to hunt out of a camp site they need to rent one.

This campsite is off a road that should only be taken with a vehicle capable of driving over very rough terrain for 7-9 miles. I decided not to stay here after eventually finding the site due to its isolation.

Delta national is primitive which is why we go. The sites used to be kept up much better than they are today. Beautiful hardwood landscape.

Great time. Relaxing at its best. Undergrowth does need a burn off. But, I will try to come back
