We came in very late on Thursday night and was planning on staying to Sunday. Had good day on Friday, but Saturday was rainy with a forcast of heavy storms Saturday night so left early--was refunded Saturday night fee without even asking. The shower restrooms by entry booth was very clean, and the flush restooms in the camping area were useable but could have been a little better. We drove to the nice but small official sand beach about a mile from campgrounds, but the older kids were not impressed so we did not use it. However, in the campground there is an unofficial pebble beach the little ones enjoyed, and the older ones enjoyed the swim (it is said if water level is low you can walk) to an island where they could jump into the water and climb over the rocks. I am 71 and it has been some time since I last camped, however, my 37 year old adopted son and his wife, along with their 14, 12, 6 and 4 year olds had never been camping (they wanted to tent camp without electricty in middle of July--HAHA!!! they found out why I did not recommend it). The camping trip was a sucess as they want to do it again (but in a popup with electricty and AC) so looks like we will be back in September.

Very great trip. Only setback was that the bathrooms were not as clean as other Stockton parks especially the vaults.

Enjoyed it. Had a camp site near the water and parked the boat on the shoreline nearby, so didn't have to unload and load it on the ramp two or three times a day. Attendants keep restrooms and sites in good shape and are good to work with. Fellow campers are usually good neighbors.

I really love the camp hosts, and I love Cedar Ridge. It has been an annual favorite for my husband and me and all of our children for over ten years. But for years the camp host made the park nearly unbearable. The new hosts are amazing and so is site 36!!!!

It's always beautiful. The park attendants are usually sweet but the last 2 times we have gone the lady speaks to us like we are stupid and that we annoy her with what we talk to her about. Out of respect we haven't said anything but it makes the experience frustrating. The gentleman however is always so sweet I enjoy talking to him. The bathrooms are always clean which is a plus.

We had major issues with other campers being very disruptive, rude, and playing very loud music until 5:00am. The manager of the park and the park ranger gave them one warning and didn't bother to help us at all with our problem.
We will not be returning to that location, especially if the people who work there cannot do their own jobs and people continue to be disrespectful jerks.
