What Guests Are Saying
Cobb Ridge Campground is praised for its cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, and well-maintained facilities, including spacious sites and enjoyable trails. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great place for families and outdoor activities. However, there are some concerns about site reservations being honored and a lack of on-site dump stations, as well as occasional issues with local disturbances.

Check in/out time needs to be fixed on the app. We got there around 2 per the check in time, only to have the previous campers stay until 330 and we’re told not much could be done because check in was at 4????!

The app says check in and check out is at 2. We arrived only to find campers still there. We were told that check in is supposed to be at 4?? The campers that were still there were pretty rude and didn’t leave until around 330.
Need to change the app to say an accurate check in time, and enforce the check out time.

Cobb Ridge Campground (and Chadwick Use Area, in general), is always great. The current campground hosts are super nice, and do a great job. I am always surprised by how quiet, all in all, this campground is, considering it is an off road park. That being said, one of the folks camping there the weekend we were ran an actual engine-driven chainsaw for like 15 minutes! Even though dirt bikes and ATV's drive around all the time, there is something extra obnoxious about a chainsaw running at full throttle! Isolated incident, I'm sure, and the overall experience was still top notch.

Park was nice but hadn't realized lack of watersports (fishing, boating, swimming) due to the low level of the lake. Also disappointed to lack of internet/cell coverage

We had a reservation for a standard non-electric site. We figured if there were any FF sites available when we arrived we could just switch ( the FF sites are electric sites) When we arrived the camp host told us that there were no 'first-come first-serve' sites available and that they were all taken. As we drove through the campground all of the FF sites had reserved tickets on them but no campers. We arrived on a Thursday and eventually those spots were filled by campers, but seems to me like they were able to reserve those spots ahead of time. Park is beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves on the trails. Any of the dirt bike riders or 4-wheeler riders we came in contact with were very pleasant and helpful directing us to the trail we should check out since we are newbies.

Camp sites are very large, paved, and spaced far apart. Great shade across entire campground. No water or sewer services, including no dump station. Also no playground or shower house on premise.
