Shadow Bluffs Retreat

Tammi was amazing to work with. We stayed in the bee hive. She recommended we visit a corky little town nearby named eureka springs Arkansas. That was a must see, high energy beautifull victorian town! The cabin was also very close to a beautiful trout farm with the bluest water Ive ever seen. It was extremely hot the few days we stayed and it was always a nice cool little cabin to come back too. Would recommend bringing snacks and drinks as gas stations and grocery stores are miles into town.

A lovely independent camp ground. We stayed here in spring and had a lovely relaxing stay. It is super close to Roaring River so perfect for those who fish. The wifi was a great bonus especially as the Roaring River area is a bit of a cellular black spot. The bathroom facilities were lovely and clean. Highly recommend if you like a nice quiet and relaxing campground.

My friends and I stayed at Shadow Bluffs (tent site, rv site, and one of the cabins) during the fall. The location is perfect for accessing Roaring River State Park. The cabin was very cute, well maintained, and clean. Our group did wish the hiking trail was more maintained as it was a difficult path and there was no map indicating where the path was. Additionally, there is only one bathroom so if staying in a tent site, you may have to wait a bit to shower/toilet. Not a deal breaker for us as we've done a lot of camping, but would be helpful to have 2 restrooms in case of emergency!

We had a nice time visiting Shadow Bluffs Retreat for a tent camping weekend. The camp hosts are the sweetest people and very accommodating. The got us a nice bundle of wood and had clean bathrooms. The campground was VERY spacious with cut grass and overlooking the woods. Location is great and is a 3 minute drive to Roaring River State park, which fills up quickly. This had a lot more charm and room. There wasn't loud parties and the area felt family friendly with a nice playground. We unfortunately got hit with rain and had to drive home early. We'd like to visit again!! They have a cute gift shop too.

Shadow Bluffs retreat was a very peaceful and fun campsite. They are very close to Roaring River so it was just as if we had stayed at Roaring River. The owners were very nice and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. Shadow Bluffs retreat sells wood to customers for fires. The wood was very high quality and came in a great quantity for cheap. The owners were very nice and even brought the wood to my campsite. They also went out of there way to save my canopy from blowing away while I was fishing. I returned to my campsite with my canopy layed down and packed up nice and neatly. Shadow Bluffs Retreat comes highly recommended by my friends and family. We will definitely be coming back.
