Wonderful campground! Beach was very clean, campsites are all top notch, the grounds are mowed and kept clean. A perfect place to take our grandkids camping. They had a blast here! It is also great to see the area patrolled frequently by law enforcement. One of the best campgrounds we have been too for sure!

The campsite was clean and well maintained. The bathrooms were clean and always stocked with TP. Some additional signage for new users of the camp site could be added. I arrived late and it was getting dark and had difficulty finding my site, but overall it was as great.

I have been coming to Bucksaw for more than 10 years. I love the full hookups & until this year the shady sites. And I appreciate that the Corps mows & trims the grass so often.
The camp hosts are very nice & helpful & drive thru the camp with their trucks horn honking when there are severe weather warnings.
Bucksaw is my favorite campground

Great place to camp. The grounds and camp sites are well maintained, clean and the campground attendants are excellent. Very helpful and friendly. Cell phone reception is good for T-Mobile users. Have not used the beach yet but it also looks great.

Take a drive to visit Truman Dam and the Visitors Center located by it. Very quiet and peaceful setting by Truman Lake. There is a Marina close by with a restaurant that serves home cooked food. State Park Marina is about 30 minutes away were different kinds of boats are for rent. Wonderful place for a weekend or a extended period to camp. Clean shower and bathroom facilities are also on site.
