Most exceptional camp hosts to ever come through the ranks at bucksaw except the maines and good ol yank at longshoal.clean bathrooms and nice quiet camping spots . Is biker friendly and would like to see more bikes show up!

Had a great time at the camp ground, only issue I had was the camp host likes to ride his Harley through the camp ground revving it up so EVERYONE can hear and see him, Just a little on the irritating side. Camp ground was clean and the water was rising so the fishing wasn't the best but was still relaxing.

Happy to see improvements. Need more full hook ups. Recreation.gov website is a mess. I have to call to make reservations. The new hosts were nice but his motorcycle is very noisy when he drives thru campgrounds. I’m concerned about the ash trees. New trees need to be put in as all Ash will be dying and we will lose our shade.

The campground was okay if you were only going to camp, however, the water was up so you couldn't access the swimming beach (no fault of theirs of course), and the only way to go fishing was to either drive somewhere else or walk through one of only 9 sites that were close to the water.

The cell service is ZERO. Which for some is a blessing, but when trying to work during a vacation makes it impossible. Also if an emergency were to arise, not sure we would be able to make a call to anyone without traveling through the park to find service.
There was a very loud truck and motorcycle/s that traveled through the park. During the night, after 1AM and before 7AM. These same vehicles would come through during the day as well. It was loud, not like they were stomping on the gas, I guess the owners must like that type of noise. I did see a lot of cars, not the ones mentioned, traveling a little faster than they should with children playing and walking.
Our site was littered with cigarette butts. I don't mind that folks smoke, but please throw them in the campfire ring, not on the ground. Or at least pick up your own before leaving.

Very nice & clean campground. Staff was very friendly. Wish it was closer to home so we could camp there more often!
