The cell service is ZERO. Which for some is a blessing, but when trying to work during a vacation makes it impossible. Also if an emergency were to arise, not sure we would be able to make a call to anyone without traveling through the park to find service.
There was a very loud truck and motorcycle/s that traveled through the park. During the night, after 1AM and before 7AM. These same vehicles would come through during the day as well. It was loud, not like they were stomping on the gas, I guess the owners must like that type of noise. I did see a lot of cars, not the ones mentioned, traveling a little faster than they should with children playing and walking.
Our site was littered with cigarette butts. I don't mind that folks smoke, but please throw them in the campfire ring, not on the ground. Or at least pick up your own before leaving.

The campground was okay if you were only going to camp, however, the water was up so you couldn't access the swimming beach (no fault of theirs of course), and the only way to go fishing was to either drive somewhere else or walk through one of only 9 sites that were close to the water.

Clean camp sites with tons of room for our family to spread out. Enjoyed the sandy beach and swim area as well!

Bucksaw has been our favorite and "GO TO" campground for many years. While we do go on other camping adventures, we always begin and end (with several trips in between) our season at Bucksaw.

Beautiful, well maintained grounds, with spacious does. We can't during the week and had our loop almost to ourselves. My only complaint is that not all the water spigots were working.

This is our favorite campground close to home. Yes we can travel far but, when we just need a little get-away, Bucksaw has it all! The grounds and amenities are so well maintained. The beach area is perfect for water fun! The camp hosts and volunteers are always close by for any need. The scenery and close to the lake camp spots cannot be beat! Loop B is our favorite--don't forget your kayak and bikes if you have them! We love it here and visit as much as we can!
