Our stay was a quick one-night stop on our way back to Michigan from the parks in Utah and Colorado. We were able to book the site once we arrived. Our site was level and close to the lake. The campground map was a bit confusing because it wasn't clear that the B loop was a bit further down the road. Google maps shows the B loop within the A loop which is not correct. A loop was about 50% filled but B was mostly empty.

Sparrowfoot is a very nice camp ground. The spots are very roomy complete with fire ring and picnic table and shade. The shower house is very nice, clean with hot water and plenty of water pressure.

This is my 3rd reservation there (loop A specifically because of the pull-through sites) in the last 3 years. I love it there. Nice, quiet, and the hosts are very nice as well. They greeted me promptly at the gate and then came to my site to check on me and make sure I don't need anything. It was nice to see familiar faces :) and they remembered me!!!
The bath houses are at the other loop (B), so you have to drive. Check-out is 6 pm, which is super nice, because then you don't have everybody leaving at the same time (2 RV's can dump at the same time at the dump station).
Close to town, with fun mercantile shop (next to the best pizza place ever). Walmart is nearby as well if you forgot something.
The campground doesn't sell wood, but you can get some from town.
Definitely will be back again next year and I hope to see the same hosts again.

We made a one night stop at Sparrowfoot COE. We arrived after dark. It was easy off the highway, into the park and we made our way to our site without any problems. It was not crowded at all, a good place to walk our dog and stay for a night. The only thing I noticed that could be better was the maintenance of the grass. Other than that, it was a typical, good COE location!

- Campers must have permit before camping. Available at park booth. *There is a limit of 1 wheeled camper and 2 tents or 3 tents per camp pad.* All equipment must fit on the site pad. Vehicles park in developed areas only. This park requires a 3 night minimum stay on holiday weekends and 2 night minimum stay on weekends.*
