Many visitors appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, proximity to the Current River, and opportunities for wildlife sightings, such as wild horses. However, some campers noted issues with campsite leveling and limited cell service, as well as occasional noise from nearby river activities. Overall, it remains a popular destination for its natural beauty and amenities.

The campground is well-kept and Round Spring itself is beautiful. River access in the campground so you can pull out of the river after a float and walk to your campsite. We were lucky enough to see the wild horse herd walk near our campsite at night. We kept our distance and they peacefully passed by and ignored us. Awesome experience.

The sites were spacious, clean and quiet. The other guests were considerate and kind. The views and access to the river made it exceptional. I really enjoyed being there. I'll go back..

Reserved site was way too small for my 28 foot motorhome, as we're virtually all of the campsites in campground which was largely empty in early October. I would suggest anyone with rug larger than small travel trailer or motorhome without sliders think twice before reserving campsite here. I ended up in private campground 10 miles north.

Very clean bathrooms and showers. The campsites did lack a little privacy being close to the road, although they were convenient.

Been motocamping here twice this year. The place is very clean and the sites are mostly level for being a campground on a hill. The bathrooms and showers are also very clean. There are plenty of twisty roads, canoe rentals, and points of interest. Be sure to check out the info station at the entrance and download the National Park Service app ahead of time as there is no cell service at the campground.

Nice, well maintained campground. Lots of trees separating most of the tent sites giving a sense of some privacy. If you are tent camping, bring a tarp or pad or something to put under your tent. Most of the sites are pretty rocky and having something under the tent definitely helps if you're walking around inside your tent without shoes on.

The critters are crafty so put your food and trash away before bed.

Was a nice campground, river was just down the hill. Camp host was only there on weekends. We had site E-5 water and electric. Site was a little small, yard wise. The site pad was mostly level , no cell service, to TV channels. We had a camper with our own restroom, we did not use theirs, so I can't comment on them. We did look at the showers and they look very clean and roomy. We stayed from a Sunday to Friday so it wasn't very busy.
