Most of the sites had water views. I was in site 30. I wanted to see the pelicans, which I had read were at Stockton lake but did not see any. As a matter of fact, the only birds I saw were blue herons and vultures. I was little disappointed with that. I went for a walk along the shore and that was bit difficult because of the large rocks but doable. You have to walk slow and steady. While walking I encountered a deer in the woods that was grunting and stamping its feet at me so I cut my walk short. It was a doe so I'm not sure what that was about.
The campground was full and pretty noisy during the day but when quiet hours came it was quiet. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant.
My husband went fishing and caught quite a few fish - catch and release. I am not sure how high the water normally is but the swimming area was only about 20 feet wide from the beach to the rope.
The bathrooms were older but clean. There were 2 spots to dump the tanks at the end of the trip. So many campgrounds only have 1 so that made things easier when it was time to leave. There was a spigot to hook my hose up to use the black tank flush.
Overall I have no complaints with the campground and would stay here again.

The bathroom wasn't pumped out before we got there. It was absolutely horrible. The light at the boat ramp and the boats kept up our gas all night. everyone was very disappointed

The check in personnel are extremely nice to deal wth. Their attitude makes people want to come back. We had a birthday party for our grandson turning 4 yrs old and they saw to it we had an appropriate space actually 2 spaces for his party. We were very thankful. Keep it clean and tidy what a grand time. Dale n Becky are on board for keeping everything appropriate n tip top and friendly n nice as you could hope for. Ty for this
