It’s always a good place to camp. Level sites makes for an easy setup. The only problem was with the mosquitoes. Tried a fire, spray, candles nothing seemed to work. Had to stay in the camper most of the time.

We love spending time in Greenville, MO at the Old Greenville Campgrounds. We have a boat on Clearwater Lake, and it's only a twenty minute drive from the campground. The campgrounds are very clean, quiet, and all the campers are very friendly. The phone service is excellent. There are places to walk and ride bikes for both adults and kids. We usually camp there at least once a month starting in the spring.

Beautiful, clean park, level for those who have trouble walking in the park’s loops or to bath house. Camp host was very organized, made a change for us, and keeps the place tip top! Rarely do we camp in the same spot for more than 1-2 nights, but truly could have stayed here a week.

Love Greenville Recreation Area and all the amenities. I do wish there were someone to enforce some of the general rules. There are lots of people speeding in the park, and going the wrong way on a one-way street. Very dangerous for children. I would also like to see enforcement of the lease law, and of people picking up their pets waste.
