My only complaint was a stray dog running loose in the campground. Other campers said she had been there several weeks. We have 2 dogs which we have on a leash or in a pen. I ask the camp host why it was loose and he said they couldn’t catch her. That was not true, she came around often and was being fed by other campers. Due to the fact of being part pit bull, I was concerned for the safety of my dogs and child. We only camp at Greenville and plan on being there Thurs thru Tues this week. I hope this issue is resolved before we arrive

Love this campground. We stayed at a buddy site (76/77) with our daughter and her kids. The site was big enough for our two campers and ample room for the kids to ride their bikes. The sites are well-kept and clean. The cell service is excellent. We are 1/2 hour away from Clearwater Lake where we go boating. The St Francis River runs along the campground. Wappapello Lake is also nearby. The campground is great for biking and there are trails for walking and/or riding bikes. We visit this campground at least once a month with stays from a weekend, to 5 days at a time. The town of Greenville is very small, but they have a grocery store, an ice cream shop, and a bike shop, which is fun to visit.

We really enjoy this campground. Great place for kids and to ride bikes. It’s mostly flat and all paved. Very reasonably priced for FHU campground.

Existing day use shelter reservations may be cancelled by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers if the facility is closed due to flooding, elevated security threats, maintenance problems, etc. Reservations may also be cancelled when the reservation conflicts with large public special events that would negatively impact a private event at the shelter. For these reasons, customers should consider an alternate date or location in the event a closure is necessary. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. |
