Ava & Logan were excellent guides and great with my kids. The campgrounds were amazing. We had plenty of space, gorgeous shade trees and everything was clean. They have hookups of: Sewer, water and electric at camp sites. Washer and dryer at laundry room at bathhouse and wifi was great. Highly recommend! Thank you also to the manager (blonde woman) for helping me find the perfect site :)

Missouri's first recognized toward the cave, a nice flat easy walking cave that has a lot of history and culture shared within. It's not glamorous for its stalactites or stalagmites, but a rich history of a cultural unique experience and of course a very close and easy access wherever you're staying in Hannibal missouri. And as always, a nice cool 50s degree temp. The guest entrance staff were very nice and kind and helpful and the tours were well managed with reasonable sizes. Our Sunday Noon tour guide had a wonderful booming voice we could hear everything she was saying!

OK RV campground for an overnight stay for the price- reasonable. All sites are gravel and the overnight pull-thru sites are fairly small and cramped; had to get creative to park to park our 35 ft fifth wheel and short bed truck. Long term sites looked bigger, not nearly as cramped. Grounds are secluded with many large trees, makes for a nice quiet stay. Nice large pavillion for group get togethers. Bathrooms and showers were OK.

The tour guide was great. Plenty of information and humor. We had it to ourselves the cave. We came the week before spring break. So everything was quiet and unencumbered. As there were no crowds. Back to the review..the cave is beautiful. So many passages and formations. The signatures on the walls were so varied from famous ppl to early local family explorers. The gift shop is also very nice. I tipped our guide. He was worth every dollar. For the price.. I think it is well well worth it. And walkin in the footsteps of a young Samuel Clemons , president's and the storied steps of Huck and Becky. 😁 So if caves and history mixed with a storied past... this is worth the exploration.

4.7 stars. Hannibal is "someone's fading memory of a town," but you can tell it used to be a cool place. The Mark Twain history part of it is cool! The cave is fantastic with history galore and a reasonable price. The gift shop is also very very nice. The people checking you in and running the tours are great and very pleasant. The campground is under a nice canopy of oaks and is in a valley between two hillsides that contain caves. The place is very quiet and has a nice feel to it. The whole campground is gravel except for sites f1 through f12 which have grass and are bordered by a crystal clear rocky creek. Two older and smaller playgrounds, a picnic shelter, laundry, and a couple of community corn hole boards. Highly recommend a site under the trees along the creek in the C or F section. I think f10 is probably the best site. We enjoyed our stay in f2.
