The most beautiful October for camping! This campground has a gorgeous lake view from almost every site!

Biggest complaint is the bathrooms. It takes 15 minutes to get hot water. The fans run through September & it gets cold. They aren't very clean.
We'd like to see the campground open from April 1st through October 31st.

The Park Ranger harassed people for running there dogs in picnic areas where there are no patrons? It’s hard to relax when they constantly drive by.

I've never met a more helpful camp host in the years that I've been camping. She went above and beyond to help meet my needs. And on top of that she was friendly! Not often do you meet a host that is like this. She is a gem! Our site was perfect! We had views of the dam as well as the cove. Bath house was very clean. Grounds were well taken care of. This campground is now on my top list. The only downfall is the lack of trees for shade. But in fall time camping it wasn't an issue, Sites are big and fire rings are cleaned out. There isn't a swimming beach that I saw.

Camped there mid-September for 4 days. I say that cause this campground is on a point and not a lot of trees near the water's edge. July/August may be sweltering at this campground with not a lot of shade.
Campground was well-maintained & it was nice to see all the boaters in campground were able to "beach" their boats fairly easy right off their campsites.
Absolutely gorgeous sunsets -- if you go for just that alone, you wouldn't be disappointed.
Finally, great location to catch the races at Lucas Oil Speedway - just 11 miles away! We enjoyed touring the resale shops & antique stores throughout the area.

Love the east loop sites up on the hill! They are roomy and well-spaced. Some have amazing views of the lake!

Pomme de Terre Lake has always been one of the best in Missouri. The park attendants were wonderful, campsites are clean, bathrooms were well maintained. One of the best places to camp for sure.
