We have stayed at Outlet Park several times and it is one of our favorites. It is generally a quieter park, good for families with children. The only negative, which can’t be helped, is the bad smell from the river when they are releasing water out of the lake.

Site 27 is shaded, fire ring, picnic table, level, 30-amp, gravel and next to the water. This site is 2 sites away from the group camp. Rangers and Deputies came through several times a day, very nice. Ranger said it was ok to pick up firewood along the hiking trail. We didn't use any of the restrooms. Very peaceful! We would stay again.

Walking trails were very well maintained. Water outlet below the dam is a must see when water level is high. Park and bathhouses/showers were clean and well maintained.

Great campground! You won't see the lake but if that doesn't bother you, this is a very quiet campground, a lot of shade, and very few sites, which makes it quite peaceful.
