Park was well maintained and the camp host was very efficient. Water pressure seemed a bit low.

Our stay was good without any incidents. We stay a this park once or three times a year and it see the park was not as well kept this year. The camping slots need some grading and probably additional gravel. I know that there had been a lot of rain but from year to year the sit seems to be getting less kept up.

I love this COE campground! It's my go to place for several reasons...as a "mature" adult it has a easy hiking trail with lots of benches to rest here and there. I also love the boat ramp into the river where I can easily launch my inflatable kayak. Lot's of wildlife such as squirrels, turkeys, deer, geese, eagles I've even seen a family of otters there.
I love that it's a smaller campground and very well maintained. Has shower house (4 showers) and a separate bathroom house! Level sites, blacktop lane w/loop at end of lane for easy turn arounds. Kids friendly (good place to ride bikes for beginners).
Just love this campground.
Dollar General nearby if ya forgot something.
Camp host was cleaning showers and bathrooms on regular basis, and I appreciate that.
I just wish there wasn't poison ivy on the riverbank or it would be perfect lol

We were here on a rainy weekend but still enjoyed ourselves so much. It was not crowded but even if it was, it's a small campground so wouldn't be crowded if it were full. And the dam is so close, if there's no fish in the river running behind the campsites, just cross the dam and fish from the floating dock. My husband caught each time he went. Because of the rain, we slept a lot which we needed as much as getting away. We loved our visit and changed some of our other reservations to this campground.
