Just being at the lake is always nice. But few things makes it a wonderful experience. Here is what we liked; the hosts, they helped make the time there more pleasant. What's needed is a swimming area that has that beach like feel to it as apposed to rocks/mud. Not swimmer friendly. That is the reason for the 3 star rating.

Very quiet beautiful and bath rooms were outstanding clean . The only issue we had was we tried to book 2 extra sites forctheveeekend fir our family and the Rec gov site said they both were not available. Snd no I’ve ever came abs got 3 of the four sites . My kids wanted them so bad . Seems like the booking site has errors in it .

This was a very nice and remote campground that was not overcrowded. The camping area was clean and well kept.

Probably the worst COE park we have stayed at. Sites were ok, but closer together than most COE parks. Grass needed mowing, several sites had low hanging limbs which would be problems for 5th wheels. Not much to do. The main positive is it was close to Branson. Our site backed up to a wrecked houseboat on the shore covered in buzzards. Bring at least 50 foot of water hose, water is quite a way from campsite.

Very nice concrete pads that over looked the lake. Showers and bathrooms were centrally located. They could have been cleaner when we first arrived but after one day someone came in and cleaned/stocked them. Peaceful place to stay

Great Park Supervisors. Quiet with access to the upper end of the Lake. Wish ACoE would keep this park open through October.
