Beaver Creek (MO)

One of the quietest campgrounds you'll ever find. We live nearby and this is our go to place 👍

park is very clean and well maintained

It's a beautiful place to camp for sure, and the camp attendant was very pleasant to work with. We didn't catch any fish, but that was not the main objective of the overnight.

Nice camping sites. They were mowed. The restrooms were clean. The park was quiet at night.

The camp sites were not mowed. We had to weed-eat our camp site.

Beautiful area well kept. The sites are a little cramped space wise, it's very nice that they're paved. Looks like at one time they had water supply at the campsites but obviously no more not that big a deal. My main gripe so to speak is we book this online but the pictures online are very deceiving. These need to be updated. We originally booked campsite number 37 which shows a couple of nice tall shade trees next to this site which would help with the hot afternoon Western Sun. When we got there to my surprise both of those trees that were shown on the website are gone. So now I'm sitting there in 100° heat with my trailer broadside to the hot afternoon sun with no shade whatsoever. This was very disappointing. The Host did help me be able to move to a different campsite that had shade. However, and this is certainly not their fault, we moved up in amongst several other campers instead of being somewhat private down at campsite 37. Most of them were a younger crowd and literally set up drinking and partying till a little after 3:00 in the morning. My point of all this is they need to update the campsites on the website to show current conditions.

Campground was generally in good condition, very clean, very quiet.
A few large potholes in the roads need attention and there is no swimming area at this location.

The hostess was great, stay was good, area is great.
