We are total newbies to glamping. It was so extremely quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back.

All was very good. Great friendly and helpful person in the entry house. Unfortunately it was the last day that they were open, or we would have stayed longer.

Our camp spot was right next to the swimming area which was great. Great view of the lake, relatively close to the bathroom and being on a weekday, it was quiet. We didn't do this, but it's close to Dogwood Canyon, Kimberling City, etc. A very good, relaxing experience.

1st time back here to camp since about 2004. 4 nights, Sunday thru Thursday. Not much changed. Still an out of the way, clean, quiet place, not many tourist/partyers. Grass around the immediate campsites a little high, but not annoyingly. Grass/weeds in other areas, real tall, but it's also been an abnormally wet August. No cell phone issues, Verizon. Even had a good hotspot signal for watching TV. I think the more weekend people there are, the less signal to share. Wife's 1st time at a CoE park, we have a membership at a private, mostly landlocked park. She's ready to go back to Baxter again.

The park is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Sites are clean and level. Just wish the road in the middle was wider. It is hard to bank in and pull out my 36 ft camper with the little space. Had to utilize the occupied space across from ours to get my camper in. I will just learn to pick the more open spots next time. Does not deter me from camping there. Still love the campground!

The sites are spacious some with shade some without. We were not on the water, but close enough to walk to the beach each day. Bathrooms were clean, and all the people we met were friendly and kind.
