What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek in Missouri is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained campground with spacious sites and stunning lake views. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite destination. While some noted the lack of Wi-Fi and a rude camp host, these negatives were overshadowed by the overall positive experiences shared by many campers.

My wife and I recently stayed at Mill Creek, planning on visiting Silver Dollar City during their Country Music Days festival. Mill Creek is a great base for visits to SDC, being far enough away from the busy 76 corridor to be quiet, on the west side of SDC so you can avoid the worst of the traffic, but close enough to Branson itself to enjoy the amenities of Branson. We'll be back there in a few days for the Fall Harvest Festival.
We had a scare during our visit as my wife had a mini-stroke on Sunday, and I was very impressed with how quickly paramedics arrived after I'd called 911. EMS services took excellent care of her and transported her to the ER in Springfield quickly, so there was no permanent damage. I am very thankful for their fast, professional services.
In addition, we were supposed to check out on Monday and the site we were on (61), was reserved for Monday night. I returned to the campground once I'd known my wife was out of danger and would be spending the night, and spoke with the campground hosts. They were extremely helpful, moving me to site 29 for the remainder of Sunday, since it was available for Monday night. I was then able to reserve that site for the next night, extending our stay for another night, until my wife was able to get out of the hospital. They also called to Park Ranger while I was there to let her know that my wife was okay since she'd been very concerned as well. I was also touched by the large number of campers who knew my wife had been taken to the hospital, offered to help in any way if I needed it, and prayed for her care.
Despite the scare of our medical emergency, it was a great stay in a beautiful location and we hope to spend many more visits at Mill Creek.
BTW, the sites are all paved, shaded, relatively level, the 3 I've been on are easy to get into with our 35' fifth wheel, and almost every site is on the lake! It is great to wake up and eat breakfast looking out on those beautiful views.

Was one of the best times at table rock lake we’ve had camping. Clean and very easy to get close to the water. Hard to book but was a great stay!!!!
