Mill Creek in Missouri is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained campground with spacious sites and stunning lake views. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite destination. While some noted the lack of Wi-Fi and a rude camp host, these negatives were overshadowed by the overall positive experiences shared by many campers.

This is a lakefront site, close to the water with great views. However, you have to park close to the edge of the site, especially if u have slides, because it is a through street. Once you go out of your camper you have to go down steps to the picnic area and there is a drop off the whole length of the site. There is no room to put out your awning or do anything at the side of the camper. I don’t think I would camp in this spot again. But I would stay at this campground again.

The campground is very peaceful, right on the lake and simply gorgeous. The park is very well maintained, and the bath house was very clean. Most sites are pretty level and stayed in site 38 on this visit. It's fairly level, right on the water and a great place to watch the sunrise on the lake. The camp host was very friendly and went out of his way to provide information about the area.

We love coming to this campground in this area, but for some reason things are changing. at the check-in booth is only open from 2 PM to 7 PM. We were there for five days and I never saw anyone cleaning the restrooms or cleaning up the campsite after people left also only saw the park Ranger came through twice in five days and one deputy sheriff in the whole time we were there. I personally don’t think that the amount of money the Recreation.gov is charging for the side that the park attendance should not be working for free and only receiving a campsite for payment.

We stayed in site 37. It was a pull through next to the water. Pretty close to being level. All sites had plenty of room with water and electric.
Stayed during the week. It was quiet except for the birds singing.
Plan on going back in the fall.
