Mill Creek in Missouri is highly praised for its beautiful, well-maintained campground with spacious sites and stunning lake views. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a favorite destination. While some noted the lack of Wi-Fi and a rude camp host, these negatives were overshadowed by the overall positive experiences shared by many campers.

We have visited Mill Creek for a week over the last 4 years. This year's trip was a little disappointing. The campground has not been maintained. It was overgrown with limbs and trees down. The showers were filthy and the metal soap dishes were missing. All that remained were the rusted places on the wall where they had been.
We love camping at Mill Creek, but it has gone down hill in the last year.

Mill creek has always been my favorite place since I was old enough to camp by myself. So.. 24 years now lol. It kinda sucks that the Corp has but restrictions on how far people can mow to the shore line. A lot of Waterfront sites are overgrown now and looks awful. I don’t see how this is bringing the shore ‘’back to its natural habitat”. It looks awful.

Wonderful park! Site 21 was perfect! While not as shady as some, it was right near the beach, awesome views of the water and the peninsula! One of the top 2 ACOE parks we have stayed at! We loved it and will go back again!
