We were very happy with our campsite, walking & biking trails, bathhouse, etc.
Our only complaint when we booked our sites, we understood there was a playground right by our sites. When we arrived, the playground had been COMPLETELY REMOVED. If we had known, we would not have booked at this campground.

This newly renovated campground still needs a lot of work. They have a lot to offer. I was surprised by the archery range, we would’ve taken our bows. They even have a 3-D set up.
They have a pond, I caught the largest bluegill I have ever caught/released, at 1.41 lbs. Several were catching catfish. It’s very pretty. You can sit on a bench and just enjoy the scenery, or picnic. There is hiking trails and an equestrian campground.
The campground itself needs the work. The roads are understandable because they just put in full hook ups… They’ll get the roads paved eventually, not a dealbreaker! What was aggravating is, they have one shower house/parking at the beginning of the campground. Nothing at the other end. This is not a problem unless you have others joining you. You are not allowed to park on the grass… they are extremely strict about this. But if they are going to allow two structures, a camper and a tent or two tents, and up to eight people… Are all but two of these people children? I doubt it! We had adult children arriving several days after we did. We had two vehicles, because we pulled a boat… Hello there’s a huge lake, and the other vehicle triple-towed the camper/fishing kayak. When my adult children arrived, they had nowhere to park. We tried several ways and the Corp was not happy with it. The kids were in a tent and if they want to take a shower, they would jump in a vehicle and go up to the shower house, no big deal. But for parking and to use a bathroom, there wasn’t anything within walking distance. Some campers do not have bathrooms in them. So be prepared, if you don’t have a bathroom, make sure you bring a bucket…. especially for night time. There is plenty of room in the lower end of the campground, for these things to be built, so I hope they do!
The fire pit is level with the concrete pad, and poses a hazard, so beware.

The campground was very clean and the space between campsites was great! The camp host was friendly and was always around if we needed them. Beautiful campground!! We already have another trip booked there!😊
