Great visit, we love site 47B all concrete pad.
Only problem was that two young guys
with big tires E-bike’s road back and forth
past our driveway at fast speed several
days. Guessing about 30 mph or more.
We have an E-trike and watch our speed.
Sometimes a bad egg spoils everything!!

Spots are kept clean. Shower/restroom facilities are clean and operational. Park stays quiet except for the electric bikes.

I love this campground. Plenty of FHU sites, ota TV is good and cell service is good. Plenty to do in the area with Hannibal and Florida (the birthplace of Samuel Clemens aka Mark Twain) nearby. The gate attendants were knowledgeable about the area and propane is very reasonable at the nearby gas station/convenience store. Highly recommend going to the visitor center at the dam. Nice little paved trail and a bunch of interactive history inside. There are hiking trails within the campground, some pretty long, but nice. Be prepared for ticks during season. I've heard good things about the restaurant nearby but haven't been there myself. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Clean, great hook ups, and the spaced out lots made our stay wonderful. Also love that there is open or wooded areas. Showers were great!
