Too many kids on electric bikes riding too fast

We saw on our reservation and on the website that there was water at our campsite but when we arrived there was no water hookup. Other campers said this has been the case for more than a year at site 72. This caused us to haul in water daily. Not a pleasant experience at all. Please update your information!!!

Host was very friendly and informative. Campsites, restaurants and showers were extremely well maintained, and we saw ACOE staff doing quality checks to ensure cleanliness. Our only complaint at all was a group of several tweens in an adjoining site that rode their electric bikes "off road" at speed, all around/over/through adjoining sites, extremely close to our camper, chairs, etc. I'd like to see the electric bikes relegated to being used just on the roads.

Left after one night because the ticks were so bad that we couldn’t even be out on the gravel pad for 5 minutes without having one on us. Lone star tick was one of the several we pulled off of us.

There is a big need to spray for ticks. They were bad. The we had a bad 50amp outlet. Had to play with it to find the good spot for it to even work.

The NEW showers are terrible. No place to put clothes without getting them wet. The shower sprays the small bench seat .

The campground was well maintained, the camp sites were spacious, had a nice picnic table , and a fire pit. The lake visitor center was close by, there is a marina in the park area for boating needs, and a boat ramp.

One of my favorite parks! Beautiful area, beautiful park! An added bonus is the full hook up sites!
