We had a great, shady spot. Saw lots of wildlife. The campground was quiet and clean

Ray Behrens is a very nice campground. The shower houses weren’t as clean as they usually are, and I logged on to the RallsTech internet for 3 hours but only got one hour of service. The internet towers used to be on top of shower house, not sure where they are now. Usually offers a daily rate or weekly rate, but now $1 an hour only.

The campsites and facilities were great. But we have youg kids and would have liked to see more playgrounds for them. The only kid friendly playground was at the first loop. Which was a car ride from the back loop. Something closer, aka bike riding distance, would have been nice. The campground is nice and close to the visitor center, which had programs. That was nice for the kids. Also the beach was a short drive away.

I have sent this comment in before but sure would be nice to remove all railroad ties that are boxing in the fire pits. It not only is dangerous and a safety hazard as we have had people trip on those trying to get close to the fire but they are also placed in a manner that if you sit outside the box you are too far away from the fire and if you sit inside the box you are too close. Many other railroad tie safety issues other than the fire pits but would be great if you would start there.
Thanks, a long time camper at Ray Behrens.

We came over to see some friends at Ray Beherns. I got my work done and my wife is retired. So we got a reservation and we are only 3 hours away. The campground is very quiet. The roads are very nice and adequate. This was a last minute trip. But I think we will be back.

Site 62 - fairly level site with some shade. Easy to back in to and out your door is a line of trees that blocks the neighbors.

Very nice site . The picture is not correct though , The site is full sun 1/2 the day and we needed 5" of blocks in the rear to get 40' Motorhome level

It’s a great park but so many of the sites are totally sloped making it impossible to get your rig level.
