Great stop for a overnight while enroute.

New infrastructure for pads and full hookups. Lots of room between sites and a couple of short trails that were convenient and fun. The longer trails were overgrown and better suited for horses. Less than 30 minutes to Hannibal. Only one older bath/shower house which was a pretty good hike from most sites.

Very good, wide, clean, concrete site. Very accommodating for a 42 ft. 5th wheel, and parking for two vehicles. Roads are in great condition, recently repaved. Bathrooms are clean. Children have play area, and an additional playground is under construction. Great camping!

Was very quiet even though lake was close by. Good area for biking too.

I love the full hook up sites. Almost every site has wide concrete pads large enough for an RV, a boat and two tow vehicles. The trails and archery facilities are very nice. This is the nicest Corp campground that I have camped in.

We had a pleasant experience. Check in was smooth with a friendly staff. Our fellow campers had an electrical issue that was tended to promptly. The only recommendation is to leave NO food or beverages outside. The racoons ate through the rubber seal on our truck bed topper to get to the bag of trash we put in the bed of the truck.

We camped for a long weekend. We found the campground sites clean and in excellent repair. The view of the lake from our site was beautiful. The couple manning the gate were warm and welcoming. Gas, firewood and breakfast close by if you don’t feel like cooking. We enjoyed our stay well enough that we want to come back again and will visit the marina for a boat rental. Highly recommend!

Great camping spot. We were unfortunate enough to have a spot that had a poor ground at the electrical hookup. Discovered we couldn't run AC and hot water at the same time after not have AC the first night. Overall, a great place to camp though. Hopefully, they repair this issued before the next camper.
