Frank Russell Campground offers clean, spacious sites with full hookups and well-maintained concrete pads, making it suitable for RVs of various sizes. The campground features quiet surroundings, convenient access to biking trails, and facilities like a fishing pond and playground. While some reviewers noted minor issues such as slope on pads and limited Wi-Fi, the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Our favorite spot at MarkTwain Lake! Great quiet small campground. Minus holiday weekends can always get a site even last Minute. Nice mix of heavily wooded sites and open sites for spring and fall when you want the sun to warm things up. Not far from multiple different lake access points, and several local restaurants.

We enjoyed camping at Frank Russell, sights are well maintained and far enough apart for privacy . Shower houses are nice and well maintained. My wife and I both enjoy antiques, Perry MO is pretty close and has several antique shops so we usually add that to our trip as well.

They have removed all the pit toilets. If you can't walk very well , you always have to drive to the shower house. Sometimes there just isn't enough time to walk 500 yards!

Nice large private sites. We had large rigs and had plenty of space. Enjoyed the fireworks for the 4th. Nice trails and lake access.
