We love this campground but we arrived at our site and it was disgusting. Cigarette butts were everywhere! The last campers also burned foil and plastic bottles. I thought the sites were checked when you left and picked up. Totally disrespectful and gross.

Great park attendants and maintenance as after a bad storm they came quickly to remove & trim tree fallen limbs & fixed a sewer pump in Deer Run. Call (573) 735-4097 if need help!

The gravel areas for the picnic table & fire ring would be nicer if they were filled with pea gravel instead of the 1 1/2" to 1" rock that is currently in them.
The restrooms through the night & until the cleaning contractor arrived in the mornings were pretty much completely overrun with gnats or some type of small insect rendering them unusable until they were fogged & cleaned each morning!
The removal of dead or dying trees & limbs would not only look better but more importantly be a safety move. These dead limbs could fall onto your camping unit causing extensive damage or possible bodily injury or death. As trees are dying & being removed, new trees need to be planted.
