What Guests Are Saying
Piedmont Park at Clearwater Lake is a well-maintained, beautiful campground offering stunning lake views and a peaceful atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the accommodating and friendly camp host and clean facilities, although some noted that the beach area and bathrooms could be improved. While the park lacks cell service and some sites may be challenging for larger rigs, overall, visitors enjoyed their stay and appreciated the scenic surroundings and ample shade.

Well, we were having a good trip until a tree branch fell off a dead tree and hit our windshield and busted it. Other than that we enjoyed biking and playing on the playgrounds. We stayed during the week and there was barely any traffic and it was very peaceful!

I stayed 4 nights, Monday to Thursday. The park was clean and well maintained. There were very few other campers, which was nice. We drove around to the natural springs, all within an hour or so. Big Springs, Markham Springs, and Alley Springs were all amazing. Check out Rocky Falls for a fun swimming hole about 45 minutes away, but get there early. It gets crowded and is not very big.

We loved our stay at Piedmont Park. We went through the week, so it wasn’t crowded. The park staff were so friendly and the bathroom facilities were neat and clean. Would recommend this campground anytime!

The bathrooms and showers have no vents or fans so it makes it extremely hot in them.

It was very clean and quiet. Great atmosphere around the area. Just wish you had a mirror and sink in the shower stalls.

Piedmont Park campground was well maintained. Our friends were in B10 but was not happy with their site. Very dangerous one foot drop coming out off their last step of trailer. Pad too narrow! We were in B9, very nice. If you get B10 take a tall platform.

It was much better now that there are camp hosts. However, it could be better is grass was cut around sites.

We enjoyed our time at Piedmont. I wish the people before us had cleaned up a bit better. I picked up a lot of trash. This was our first experience of camping with our new motorhome. I thought the campground might be checked before the new group came in. Can't blame the trash on Piedmont. T he area was clean all around.
