What Guests Are Saying
Piedmont Park at Clearwater Lake is a well-maintained, beautiful campground offering stunning lake views and a peaceful atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the accommodating and friendly camp host and clean facilities, although some noted that the beach area and bathrooms could be improved. While the park lacks cell service and some sites may be challenging for larger rigs, overall, visitors enjoyed their stay and appreciated the scenic surroundings and ample shade.

When we got to campsite it was smaller than expected. Tip for RVers. Check out the park BEFORE you check in. Then if you find a better site you can ask the host to switch you. Most will do that...some won’t. Those you can give a negative review. Very poor cell coverage.

Nice quiet campground, clean and had nice restrooms and showers all except the water pressure in the showers were trickles of water had to rinse out hair at campsite with water hose. But all in all a great place with beach and boat ramp and play areas for kids. Do check for ticks they were bad!

The showers need some attention please. We love the fact that they are individual rooms but there is so little water coming out it's almost impossible for a person to get the shampoo and conditioner out of their hair. Please increase the water pressure and it will be great! This was the complaint from everyone in our party. Other than that we had a great time!!

we rented G1 site for our reunion which we do twice a year. we were unable to use the pavilion because the floor was covered with water. we were upset paying $40 and couldn't use the facility. we have asked the people at the project office to please fix it so that the water will turn away from the pavillion several times . they do nothing. we had it rented in September and I came home and cancelled my reservations. water runs in around the chimney also and if it rains water runs in around it and everything gets soaked. you can't even build a fire. If you do have a fire the water puts it out.

The internet and phone service is terrible. You would think that by now they could make it better for camping

It was a joy to see the many people fishing. IT LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE DOING GETTING FISH FROM OUR VIEW!!! WE love the settings at Clearwater Lake: Piedmont, Mo.

Well run, clean park. It looks like they're making improvements and updates often. Great sites in a natural setting, not on top of each other.
