What Guests Are Saying
Piedmont Park offers large, well-maintained campsites with plenty of shade and scenic views of the lake, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The campground is quiet and clean, with friendly hosts and modern restroom facilities, although some areas could benefit from better cleaning and maintenance. While there are challenges with cell service and some site navigation, many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and return regularly for family gatherings.

Restrooms and showers exceptionally clean for a camp ground! The reserving campsites in line is not at all convenient as it was very timely trying to maneuver the site in an attempt to find a good spot, the spot found was not as a good “tent” site as it was small and full of rocks/boulders that would have been nice to know ahead of time.
A station for Cell service or WiFi would be nice, for emergency purposes only.
But overall good experience.

It had been 32 years since my wife had been to Piedmont Park and we had an excellent time. The facilities were well maintained and we'll be going back soon.

Beautiful park. Lots of shade and wildlife. My reason for the mediocre rating was our site - B07. There really should be a warning on this site. About a 1 1/2 ft drop off from the pad to the patio. Very dangerous drop.

Nice facility but a lot of camping sites needs to be improved by adding gravel where fire pits are located, the sites that overlook the lake are very nice. However, they still have 30 amp service and with direct sunlight it is hard to keep your camper cool during summer months. Also, this facility is known for locals coming in and stealing your coolers so you basically have to make sure you have everything locked down that you do not want someone walking away with.
