What Guests Are Saying
Piedmont Park at Clearwater Lake is a well-maintained, beautiful campground offering stunning lake views and a peaceful atmosphere. Many reviewers praised the accommodating and friendly camp host and clean facilities, although some noted that the beach area and bathrooms could be improved. While the park lacks cell service and some sites may be challenging for larger rigs, overall, visitors enjoyed their stay and appreciated the scenic surroundings and ample shade.

Concrete Bench seat was broken on the table. Good way for an accident. Went down hill from camper so it is not a good sight for little ones.

Grass needed mowed.
Needed a camp host full time.
Septic was full and should have been emptied prior to that weekend that they knew had a campground full of campers.

Great location to take day trips to Pilot Knob, Taum Sauk SP, Baker SP, float the Black River, St Francis River & Current River. Locally cute town of Piedmont is typical small lake town with BBQ,Mexican food, & live music on occasions. LOTS OF BOAT TRAFFIC, so must be good for boats.

Great campground. Nice flat sites and space between most of the sites. Clean shower house and restrooms available. Lots of shade! Nice beach, although steep. My only negative was the people driving through the campground at high speeds. I wish there were speed bumps to slow them down.

My wife and I camped and went boating here several times. The camp ground was also very clean and very well managed. The shower rooms were also very clean. The gate attendant was always very kind and polite and eager to help with any problems that may come up. Our stays were always outstanding and I would highly recommend staying there.

The park is a hidden jewel, a wonderful place for family. Having camped in many parks in MO, this is our most favorite place.
