What Guests Are Saying
Piedmont Park offers large, well-maintained campsites with plenty of shade and scenic views of the lake, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The campground is quiet and clean, with friendly hosts and modern restroom facilities, although some areas could benefit from better cleaning and maintenance. While there are challenges with cell service and some site navigation, many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and return regularly for family gatherings.

Weekend got crowded and noisy with Loop B whooping it up both Friday and Saturday nites until midnight...
Shower exhaust fans did little to cool the showers...
Overall though, a good campground, nice facilities, pleasant staff...

I love Peidmont Park and camp there several times a year however the ticks this year were awful and it made it hard to enjoy the experience.

The park and the lake are beautiful, our site was ok but it needed more gravel. The spots across from us were very nice but had no water. It rained a lot (not the park’s fault) but our spot was very muddy. It looked like it had gravel there at one time but it had washed away. The bathroom and shower by us was very nice but elsewhere in the park the bathrooms were not flushable toilets which had a lot of bugs in them (yuck). We just went to the nicer bathrooms. There is absolutely no cell service not even if you leave the park. In a why it was nice it made me relax and not be concerned about what was on my phone. All in all it is a nice park and we will definitely stay again but just stay in a different spot.

Very quiet campground. Easy access to shower house since our campsite was just across the road from it. My only suggestion is that the dump station sign needs to be a bit bigger. Didn’t have a clue where it was because we didn’t see the sign when we came in. Other than that everything was great

Beautiful park. Great campground host! It rained quite a bit the weekend we were there so our spot was flooded, we went to the host and she let us switch spots! FYI-No AT&T cell phone service.

We were on Pad 13B. The asphalt was so broken we had to avoid the broken pieces in order to even level our trailer. Therefore when we entered or exited the trailer we used an extra step. The park is too primitive now! I understand why our friends would rather go to Greenville RV Park.

First off the campground, showers, and bathrooms were all clean. It is really a nice place to stay. We stayed in spot b10, which had a lot of room to maneuver while backing in. It was nice and level, didn't have to use blocks, which was nice, but the pad is pretty narrow. We set up our travel trailer and the steps came right to the edge of the pad, leaving a giant step on the bottom, that a person had to watch out for. The water spigot was a little far away, but we didn't have an issue with that. I keep a 50 foot shrink hose on hand. Over all it was a great place to stay!
