The only problem was that someone got our spot the day before thinking they could keep it more then one day. They don't put the tags out till the day of your arrival so anyone getting in it the day before think it's open for the additional days. The people that had to move that evening was upset.

Very nice place to camp. It’s a real shame it’s going to volunteer only next year. Don’t understand why the corp thinks this is a good idea. I’ve come here for 40 years. Going to miss it. But I won’t come when the Corp stops paying someone to drive around and check on things. I’m afraid things will go south real quick. I really wish someone would explain how this is going to be a good idea. This campground is always busy but they can’t afford to pay a park attendant. No one is going to do a good job if they’re not getting paid.

The map in the app is wrong on location of the site I reserved, the site was not the size it claimed in the app, once I got my camper backed in my stair were inches for the concrete picnick table, if one of my kids had slipped on the stairs they would have gotten hurt. The camp ground was clean and decently maintained but site 96 is maybe big enough for a tear drop camper not a 28 footer like the app claims and its not right around the corner from the bathroom and accrossed the street from the playground. It is tucked in the back of a loop and smashed between 2 other sites with a common use water hydrant right behind it.

The caretakers of the park are friendly, polite and respectful. The park is extremely quiet and friendly and MOST of all CLEAN. It has everything you need and then some. Our visit was great and we were impressed. This was our first visit and we will definitely stay again.

I've been camping there since I was a little girl and always enjoyed it. We've had family get togethers back when camping was free. I know times has changed and the upkeep is costly. So I understand. If someone wants a great place for a peaceful relaxing getaway Pomme De Terre is the place to be.
