About Buck Creek (MO)

Relax in the shaded campsites at Buck Creek, on the Arkansas side of the massive Bull Shoals Lake. Here, there's plenty of opportunities for water sports, hiking and picnicking. All the campsites had orange cones on them like they were reserved the whole week we were there and not even 50% of them had people use them. The restrooms were only cleaned twice while we were there and then just barely Swept and mopped with just water !! Never once saw the camp host drive by . Locals used the flooded roads to launch their boats and clean their fish throwing the remains in the lake by the camp sites.

It is wonderful to camp at Buckcreek. The view of the lake is wonderful. The park attendant is wonderful and very helpful. It was great that the park stayed open thru Oct. I think they should stay open every year thru Oct.

Bathrooms were spotless someone is doing an excellent job
On them. Boat launching sucks a big one and the lake was only 5 ft over pool, but no courtesy ramp
I launch by myself, so I rented a slip in the marina, to avoid the launching nightmare of having to run my boat up on the rocks and float it on the trailer everyday. My boat is painted aluminum, bet those guys With $60,000 Rangers are really pissed, like a waived $5 launch fee makes up for the damage to a fiberglass boat. I mean come on, if your going to do something, do it right.
Little Rock needs about 300 million
To rebuild all of its parks on Bull
At a new elevation, since 680 seems to be the norm now.
I mean you gotta keep Table Rock
As close to normal pool as possible
Or bust your butt trying. It’s for flood control also, Right ?????
