What Guests Are Saying
Buck Creek offers a quiet and clean camping experience, ideal for family reunions and relaxation, with friendly staff and well-maintained facilities. Many visitors appreciate the scenic views, clean bathrooms, and the nearby marina and dining options. However, some areas could use improvement, such as pavilion lighting and responsiveness from staff during office hours.

We’ve been camping at Buck Creek for over 40 years. About once a month from May to Oct. Grounds are always clean and the attendants are wonderful.

Very nice place. Marina and staff are amazing!! Fishing is good and the water is nice and quiet. Pizza place up the road is fantastic and the food/ice cream across at 125 anchor point is great too! Riding the ferry across is fun. Just make sure to check the times of the ferry so you don’t get caught without a ride back over.
Our site was a very nice shady spot. Phone reception is not great but we had a good time and my kids even made some friends! Very good trees for shade and hammock hanging! Bathrooms were cleans and cool during the heat of the day!

My family and I came here during Memorial weekend. It was the best spot in my opinion since you had the best view. I do want to say however, that the picture is not entirely true. You WILL NOT have shade. When we got there we were expected to have a roof as shown in the picture but there was not. So please be aware that this site has NO SHADE and there are no trees surrounding the site. Other than that we really enjoyed the ferry ride over to the other side. Ferry is completely FREE.

Bathrooms were clean. Not advisable to camp near the boat access (A loop) if you are a late sleeper/ sensitive to noise. Very noisy early in the morning. Started just before 6am. Lake view was lovely though!
