What Guests Are Saying
Buck Creek offers a quiet and clean camping experience, ideal for family reunions and relaxation, with friendly staff and well-maintained facilities. Many visitors appreciate the scenic views, clean bathrooms, and the nearby marina and dining options. However, some areas could use improvement, such as pavilion lighting and responsiveness from staff during office hours.

Nice, quiet Memorial Day weekend at Buck Creek.
I would like to call out that site B02's power is located on the wrong side of the parking pad, on the complete opposite side of the site. You will likely need an extension to reach and it will run across your site, a tripping hazard, so also bring something for cable management. We used pool noodles.
Pulling up at almost dark to learn this about the power, with the nearest Walmart being an hour away, is not a great way to start a holiday.
Additional site details would be helpful.

Overall campground is nice. Don,t see much of the host. We were in C group. Nice large flat sites. Cleaning crew apparently does not clean the restrooms daily until closer to Memorial Day. We were there prior and we had to advise host they needed cleaning. Well maintained and clean sites.

Love going to Buck Creek. I wish the mowers wouldn’t show up on the weekend when the campground is at its busiest.

Camping is very enjoyable, just wish all the tables had a cover over them so i wouldn't have to use my canopy and worry about the wind and rain destroying it. also, holes are developing in the surrounding grounds that need to be filled in for the vision impaired so they don't fall. (ME)

I took my motorhome with boat in tow to this campground for some light fishing and lake exploring. The camp hosts were very friendly and accommodating. They pointed out campground features and gave directions to my online reserved campsite with a refreshing pleasantness.
The nearby ferry provided unique scenery at night with it's lights while making it's way across the lake to it's South docking point. The grounds
were mowed, trimmed, and in good repair plus I was never bothered by any pesky mosquitos. Most of the sites were shaded and nearly all
had a good view of the lake. Plenty of parking at the boat ramp and a courtesy dock was provided. My site was equipped with water and 50,
30, and 20 amp outlets in the electrical box. Picnic table, lantern pole, fire pit with grill, and near level parking slab were at every site I saw.
The only issue I encountered was the flush/rinse water spigot at the black water dumpsite was broken so I couldn't flush out my tank but was
able to dump and be on my way. It was a good visit so I'm sure I'll be returning.
