Doolittle Acres RV Park & Campground

We were able to score a sweet full hookup site for the night on a recent road trip. Facilities were clean. Our site was roomy and partially shaded. The gentleman who we spoke with was extremely pleasant and helpful. Perfect stop over. We will be coming back.

Nice, quiet campground. The site was level and plenty long enough. The bathrooms were very clean! I had called to see if it would be possible to check in a bit early but was told that it was probably not going to work. That's OK, understandable. We decided we could just hang out at a rest stop for a bit. But then, the women in the office called me back and said they had worked it out and we'd be OK to get there early! Great customer service! And when we got there, the "welcome committee" was all set up in the front office! Three very nice people just sitting there chatting! It was a great stop, even tho it was just an overnight for traveling thru.

We stayed 1 night in our 37 ft 5th wheel. When hitched we are 53 ft long. We were in site #1 which is a premium back in. The premium site is full hookups with 50 amp electric. The site was gravel ,plenty long enough, and wide enough. The road through the park was easy to navigate. Due to the swing out of the bed of our truck, we had to do a little back and forth maneuvering to get into our site. Also, we were back in from the driver's blind side. Although I prefer pull throughs, this wasn't an awful backin situation. We didn't use any of the facilities but I assume they were clean. The amenities we could see from our site, the playground and dog park, were small, neat, and tidy. We would stay here again.

We stayed 1 night on the way to West Virginia. The pull through sites were very large. The length of the site was long enough for our truck, camper and side by side. Easy on and off of I-44. There was road noise, but you couldn't hear It from inside the camper. I would definitely recommend this for an overnight stop

I was pleasantly surprised with my overnight stay at Doolittle acres. They had a nice fenced in dog park, and a very friendly lady who checked me in. It was much better than my choice on my outbound trip, which was about 10 miles west . wish I would’ve found this one for both legs of the trip. I would definitely stay again. My only recommendation would be to cut the grass it was a little tall. And although I didn’t need them, they also had restroom, shower, facilities, and laundry facilities a great find!
