Crabtree Cove at Stockton Lake is praised for its beautiful, shaded campsites and clean facilities, making it a favorite for many campers. While some reviews mention issues like poor shower water pressure and the need for better maintenance, the friendly staff and pleasant environment contribute positively to the overall experience. The campground's access to water activities and wildlife viewing enhances its appeal, despite minor areas for improvement.

The bathrooms are only a few years old and there is mold growing in the corners of the ceilings. The water flow in the showers is more a trickle than a spray. The fire pits do not look like they have been cleaned in a couple of years. The electric sites are only 30 amp. Various sites are drop offs from your camper requiring you to have additional steps to safely exit your camper.
Other Core campgrounds have clean facilities and level concrete pads with 30/50 amp hook ups. Stockton has a great lake but the campgrounds are behind others.

A beautiful setting for camping near the lake. We normally try to avoid weekend camping because of the crowds and noise, but this was not a problem at Crabtree Cove.
