It was a reasonable and adequate place to stay very near downtown Stockton. The full hookups were a plus. There are NO bathrooms or showers (online it says there is a bathroom). There is a very small but clean laundry room and a trash bin nearby. The WiFi overall worked pretty good; a couple times it was in and out. Our biggest complaint was the grass/weeds were not mowed and VERY long. It was not ideal for our little 5lb poodle to walk thru. Additionally, likely due to recent storms, there were LOTS of limbs and sticks everywhere. I heard the mower going over at the Managers lot as we left-maybe it was mowing day.

Less than a foot between my slide out and the next spots built on deck(though that man and his dog where the only good thing about this campground). 3 foot drop from my step to the ground when leaving the camper. Owner Sara doesn't care if you're unhappy, does not return phone calls or texts. Camp hosts left German shepherds to run around off leash. Pull through spots are absolutely horrible, worst sewer connects I've seen. If you're unlucky enough to have a picnic table it will be rotting.

We arrived at the park and a sign stated the office was lot 6 to the left. To the left was a man with a greenhouse working in a building and a hose stretched across the road with an orange cone blocking the road. My wife says I think we check in online. She begins and has to have our rv tag number so gets out as a woman comes out of somewhere to speak to her and shows us our site. The woman disappears and my wife shows me our site. I'm immediately concerned about sinking into it because of the weight of our rig. She said it looks pretty solid. The pictures tell you the rest here. They had put in new sewer and water lines and not finished but have decided to make customers endure bad campsites during the process. The.plumbing contractor also apparently thinks liquid travels up hill. See the pictures. They also apparently believe they are running a hotel with an 11am checkout time. Most campgrounds we stay at have a 2pm to 3pm checkout. When I called to ask for a later checkout she had to check the schedule to make sure nobody was coming in behind us. I laughed other than some obviously full timers we were the only ones there. She did grant us a later checkout. By the way, nobody had checked in yet as we rolled out about 2:30. As an avid traveler, camper who stays at parks around the country...this was the worst ever. If staying in Stockton Mo, stay somewhere else.
