What Guests Are Saying
Crabtree Cove at Stockton Lake is praised for its beautiful, shaded campsites and clean facilities, making it a favorite for many campers. While some reviews mention issues like poor shower water pressure and the need for better maintenance, the friendly staff and pleasant environment contribute positively to the overall experience. The campground's access to water activities and wildlife viewing enhances its appeal, despite minor areas for improvement.

I have been coming to Crab Tree Cove for a few years and have enjoyed my stays for the most part. I have stayed on pads A37, A37A A38 and A39. It appears that these pads are desperately in need of attention, The pads are very uneven and the edges are disintegrating making entering and exiting my trailer rather dangerous. I hope it is in the plans to repair these as I love the location but have very difficult times parking my trailer on them.

new restroom/shower facility was a much needed improvement . several sites were not avail because of being flooded earlier in the season, but that can't be avoided.

We have been campers at Crabtree for several years. The last 3 years have been exceptional! Clean facility! Wonderful people at the check station. View of the lake is the best! Keep it up.

We absolutely love Crabtree Cove campground. The facility has a great layout with a beautiful view of the lake. The Mcquire’s oversee the campground and they are simply amazing. Everything is kept so clean. Jim and Terri are out all the time picking up any trash and debris. There is a nice playground area for the kids. They have a big parking lot for your truck and boat trailer so they don’t have to be in your campsite. Boat ramp is just right around the corner along with a nice newly built shower house.
