What Guests Are Saying
Hawker Point offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with stunning lake views and well-kept facilities. Campers appreciate the clean restrooms, friendly camp hosts, and the relaxing atmosphere, often highlighting enjoyable activities like fishing and kayaking. While some areas could use improvement, such as more shade and better bathroom maintenance, overall, visitors express a strong desire to return for future camping trips.

Lake is beautiful. Fishing is good...some land access but better if you have a boat. Camping was wonderful minus the ticks...there were a lot. Bathrooms are ok but not very close to campsites. Shower houses were clean and fantastic.

We camped at Hawker Point many times last year and everything was great, including the park attendants.
This year our visit was not as good, nobody was cleaning the bathroom facilities in the camping area, and very sadly the shower house looked like muddy pigs ran through them mud was on the floors for at least 2 days in a row.. By the end of our Memorial Day camping the bathroom facilities at the camp site was out of toilet paper and garbage was over flowing. Hopefully this is corrected before our next visit.

There is a lot of big rocks that you stagger around on to get to the water. Also, there was not one tree on the camp side so it definitely should not be rented to people in a tent at last, but not least the 120 plugs did not work and we were in a tent

I love thunderstorms, their rage while we are comfortable in our camper. The thousands of fireflies that lit up the night sky. Kayaking with friends to Hawker Creek & wading in the spring. Fellowship around the campfire with a sunset view of the lake. Bass fishing on the lake. Campsites in the shade and ones along the shoreline. What I didn’t like were the chigger bites I came home with & the ticks, but hey, that’s
nature.
The town of Stockton has Woods grocery for supplies and many shops and restaurants to support on rainy days. Checking out the state park is a good idea, too.
We’ll be back next summer!!

We've been on A08 and A10. Both site are fairly level, about an insh side to side. Both have good shade from noon till dark. We have T Mobile, good signal. The ranger's and sheriff patrol alot. I do hope they get the water fixed.
