We have stayed at a LOT of campgrounds. This campground is by far the best so far. It’s super clean. The sites are not cramped. They have electricity and sewer hooks or neither at all if you like tent camping better. The host is super nice. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this campground. It’s close to the lake and you can easily get your boat on the water. The also have a restaurant nearby. The swim beach is actual sand and it super nice. Overall we are very impressed and will be coming back soon!

The previous campers had left the camp site filthy. Dirty diapers on the ground, boxes with feces in them, bottles of water, plastic bags, beer bottles and metal tops of beer bottles. It took me over an hour to clean it up. Thank goodness the camp guy came by and I stopped him and he took pictures and loaded up all the trash. It took him three trips to get it all loaded. The people camping next to us were loud and their dog barked all night. They were screaming and laughing till at least 1 AM- not very pleasant. Very disappointed that people are so rude.

Great new area in loop A. Bit of a fly and raccoon problem but hey your outdoors right. Hope the vault toilet gets moved someday so you don’t have the smell all the time as the new area gets finished. I changed reservations as an electric site came available unfortunately they charged me a cancelation fee and had to pay again for the new site when all I wanted to do was change spots and upgrade to a full power site. Oh well it’s just money right. :/
