What Guests Are Saying
The campground offers beautiful views of the lake and has nice open sites. However, there are significant issues, including the closure of over fifty percent of the campsites and restrooms, which caused inconvenience for guests, particularly those with mobility challenges. With improved maintenance and better communication, the campground has the potential to be a great destination.

Love the camping site but just couldn't get any t.v. reception with our antenna when we went in at night time. Doesn't bother me but my husband HAS to have television. Otherwise, it is our favorite place to camp.

Marina has a full array of options, including boat rentals. Campground has nice showers and bathrooms not too far from sights. Swim area is nice and clean as well.

Pros: The view is beautiful. The restaurant next door has great food, and the location is convenient. Showers are clean.
Cons: The sites are overgrown with weeds and bugs to where sitting outside is near impossible. Lots of traffic in and out at all hours. Locals bring their dogs to swim where it clearly says “No Pets” and “Dogs must be leashed”. One of them actually came into our campsite and peed on our campfire ring! (well, peed on the foot-tall weeds growing all over it) The owners don’t care, and there is no one to stop them. They bring their trash from home and fill up the dumpster as well. This could be a great park with some cleanup and oversite. Oh, and there’s no water to the dump station. Water is necessay for properly cleaning black tanks.

This is a nice park when it isn’t under water. We were the first reservation this season due to major flooding. Our first site, the electric pole was falling apart. So we moved to B11 and had a pleasant stay. Only issues: Park desperately needs mowing and the weeds cleared from the sites. Every electric box needs to be inspected. People keep bringing their dogs into the swim area. The swim area floating yellow marker is not in place so area is not properly marked. The place really needs some TLC besides just scraping up all the driftwood.
