Perfect stay. Clean campground, site has easy access to water for swimming. Quiet and serene. No animal issues. Bathrooms and showers were very clean

We used the filter to search for electric sites on our available dates with our trailer requirements. The choices came up. We picked site #116. We got there at 8:30pm, pitch black & the signage was terrible. We followed the sign for section 100 & it lead us to the river. We finally found our site only to discover it was a primitive site - no electric! We had no cell service to call anyone! Someone let us use their phone. The number on the board said leave a message & we’ll get back to you tomorrow. We had a 9am float trip & nowhere to set up as our camper has to have electric to push the sides out and even use it. We set up on the host site and tried to find a ranger or other number to call. No luck!! Tried to find a ranger the next morning & went to Harvey’s to find out how to reach someone. Left a message for the ranger there and a detailed note on our truck windshield explaining everything and offering to pay more for the site since hosts are vacated after Labor Day. Came back from our float trip to find a nasty note from the ranger - move or be towed! We paid $60 for a site we never got to use & have no way to even get our money back. We will never, ever be back again!

Very nice campground. Restrooms and showers were nice and clean. Grass cut, no litter, campsites very good for tent camping or Rec vehicles.

Great site with plenty of room and water view. No shade but great for our solar panels. Easy access to restrooms.

The campground is very nice, river has easy access from the park, ranger was welcoming and knowledgeable.

Very nice campground. Note - reservations must be made online or via phone. So if you don't have service and arrive without one, scout a spot and drive back towards Eminence to reserve. The on-site phone at the entrance board wasn't working for some folks. Other notes: On tent loops (along river), many sites are shaded, all easy walking distance to clean well-maintained toilet and shower blocks, and flat. Better swimming holes are upstream (15 minutes) at Round Spring group camp site loops, but you can swim here (off loop 100, 200 or 300) - tie a rope to a tree on the bank to help with the steep but short bank to the water. Get firewood/ice/misc. across street at canoe outfitters (Harvey's?) until 6p. After hours, honor-system firewood is two miles East at Hwy E intersection. This is a good base for day floats on the Current (Pultite to Big Spring) or the Jacks (Eminence to Two Rivers). Enjoy!
