Love this camp ground. Wish the federal parks would put in more electric and water camping sites.

It was an excellent stay besides the grass it was extremely tall. When we asked the guys to cut it they only weedeated some parts. Other than that we had an excellent stay and can't wait to book our next trip!

Don't miss out on the river access that the gravel road has toward the back of the campground!

We love the Alley Spring Campground near Eminence Missouri on the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. It is located next to the most beautiful river, the Jack's Fork. My extended family made our 37th annual visit in July of this year. It would have been our 38th year but due to flooding and severe damage of the campground in 2016, the campgrounds were still in repairs and closed in 2017. We were forced to gather at at different location in Missouri. The Alley Spring Campground is beautiful with lots of large, old deciduous trees providing lots of shade. There continues to remain one major problem. With more and more campers purchasing RVs and Campers, the need for more electrical sites is absolutely huge. This summer, half of our 80 plus family members had to choose other campgrounds because they could not get a reservation at Alley Spring with electricity. Consequently, next year we have chosen a private campgrounds on the Niangua River near Bennet Springs for our annual, 39th family gathering. WE ARE ALL VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT WE WILL NOT BE ENJOYING THE ALLEY SPRING CAMPGROUND AND THE AMAZING JACK'S FORK RIVER NEXT YEAR. We have informed recreation.gov of this concern for a few years. Please, please read this review and respond. There are MANY sites at the campgrounds that can become electricity/water accessible. Please convert so more families can enjoy and have the potential for using RVs and campers for their stay at the Alley Spring Campgrounds.

The grass was super long when we arrived. We had to request to have our sight mowed. There was a group that blacked out the bathroom lights without asking. There was a group that showed up at 10pm to set up camp and they were super loud till 2 am andnothing was done.

The campground was very nice. Shady and grassy and the bathroom facilities were better than expected. At night it was rather loud until well past midnight but otherwise would definitely recommend.
